Luckily for us, we have a few more PeaceTalks coming up at the RMA!
Here is the upcoming schedule:
Friday, November 7– Heather Bush (2004)
Heather was in the last group of Peace Corps volunteers before the program evacauted Nepal due to increasing political turmoil.
Friday, December 5– Matthew Handley (1997-1999)
Matthew is a DC-based lawyer who has been working on immigration cases for Nepali citizens and human trafficking cases involving Nepali citizens in Iraq.
Friday, December 12– Kevin Bubriski (1975-1978)
Kevin has continued to return to Nepal since his PC days and has become well-known for photographing the places and people of Nepal. In fact, he had his own exhibition here at RMA, NEPAL in Black and White, from March-October of this year!
I hope many of you will be able to join us for these interesting and insightful talks! And for those of you out there who are NEPAL RPCVs, I hope you too will share with us some of your stories of the places, people, and times that changed your life!
All my best,
Adam
