This information was compiled from a couple different sources. 

Some of you might not be aware that Mike passed away on Friday, May 23rd at 4:25 pm.
For the previous two days he seemed tranquil as he slowly slipped away from us. He will be buried on May 25th at a private family burial.  Mike wished for a ³green² burial so that he could return to the earth he so loved.  He will lie in a country cemetery near his mother’s birthplace. However, so that we may all celebrate his life together, we will be
having a Memorial Service at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 31st at the United Church of Christ, 300 Union Street, Northfield Minnesota.

We have been deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support from Mike’s friends from around the world.

> there to be a Buddhist puja to help Mike on his way. The puja will
> be happening at Mike’s Breakfast on Wednesday, May 28th, from around
> 7 in the morning till around 3 in the afternoon. Please pass the
> word to as many friends as possible who may want to stop by, for a
> few minutes, hours, or all day. The puja will be carried out by a
> group of Sherpa and Gurung lamas from Ilam.

> Kathmandu Post and Kantipur regarding another memorial get-together
> for Mike, which is being organized for 10 AM to 12 noon on Saturday,
> the 31st of May, also at Mike’s Breakfast. The get-together on
