Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ramesh Lekhak proposed to the Chinese Transport Minister to link Nepal’s border with road and railway connectivity. That was followed by Chinese President Xi Jinping’s assurance to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal that the Chinese government is ready to initiate construction work on the cross-border railway link between the two neighbors and boost trade and connectivity.
