Anyone who wants to be a friend of Nepal is welcome to join. Most of our members are returned Peace Corps Volunteers from Nepal, former Peace Corps Nepal staff and people who have lived in Nepal for a time. Membership fees go almost entirely to fund grassroots, local, Nepali-led development efforts, often in parts of the country that are overlooked by bigger development agencies. Our strength is in our connections to small towns and villages all over the country.
A year’s membership is $15. Returned Peace Corps Volunteers can also join through the National Peace Corps Association and choose Friends of Nepal as their affiliate.
