A seven-member delegation led by Mr. Suman Timsina visited the Capitol Hill to follow-up and brief the Senators and Congressmen on the current situation in Nepal and to discuss strategies and ways to lead Nepal out of the crisis. (details)

Humanitarian and human rights action was desperately needed in Nepal to prevent further deterioration of an internally displaced persons (IDPs) situation that was in a “pre-crisis stageâ€, the Special Adviser of the United Nations Emergency Relief Coordinator on Internal Displacement told correspondents at Headquarters today.
